Venice, Italy – September 14, 2008: A collection of essays from eminent thinkers on the topic of sustainability and urban transformation was first presented at the 11th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. The publication was inspired by the international Holcim Forum 2007 held in Shanghai on the topic of Urban_Trans_Formation.

Sustainable construction events calendar

Zurich/Switzerland, May 15, 2008 – The Holcim Foundation has created an sustainable construction events database in cooperation with its Technical Competence Center c/o ETH Zurich, which acts as gatekeeper: www.holcimfoundation.org/events
The database is a networking tool listing events related to sustainable construction hosted by associations, universities, NGOs, IGOs, corporations etc. worldwide, including brief descriptions, links and images, where available.
