中国上海--首届Holcim可持续建筑大奖赛获奖作品全球巡展的亚太区展览开幕式暨可持续发展报告会今天(2005年11月25日)在上海同济大学的建筑与城市规划学院举行。此次为期两周(11月25日至12月10日)的获奖作品展览是全球巡展的首发站,在中国上海之后还将在苏黎世、南非和巴西与公众见面。此次展览由Holcim可持续建筑基金会和同济大学联合主办,展出作品包括2005年Holcim可持续建筑大奖赛亚太区的金奖、银奖和铜奖作品,以及获得纪念奖和鼓励奖的作品。

Holcim Awards competition goes global for sustainable construction projects
Zurich, Switzerland – October 24, 2005. Following five regional competitions, 15 Award-winning projects will now compete in the first global Holcim Awards competition for sustainable construction projects. The global phase of the competition showcases the best entries from more than 1500 submissions from 118 countries, and encourages innovative, future-oriented and tangible approaches within the building and construction industry.

Holcim Awards 2005 - Europe - Prizes for sustainable construction projects
Zurich/Geneva, September 16, 2005. The Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction sought out the best sustainable construction projects in Europe – and awarded the winners about a quarter millions Swiss Francs at the Awards ceremony in Geneva. In his address, Swiss Federal Councillor Joseph Deiss said that sustainability, which has a long tradition in Switzerland, is necessary in all aspects of life, and that economic and ecological priorities are no contradiction.

1500 projects submitted in the first Holcim Awards competition Sustainable construction – A subject of global importance
Zurich, Switzerland – April 25, 2005 – The task was demanding: In a competition internationally announced since November 2004 mainly in architecture and building trade magazines, the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction invited architects, engineers and other specialists in the construction industry to submit innovative projects that meet the challenges of sustainable construction – tangible projects that are not yet under construction. Within five months, 1500 projects from 118 countries were submitted to a dedicated website. In the third quarter of this year the Foundation will award three main prizes, three recognition awards, and encouragement prizes in each of five geographic regions worldwide.
